ABOUT

WELCOME!

Welcome to SelfLoversPoint.

This space was created for people who care deeply about others — but often feel emotionally drained in the process.

If you’ve ever found yourself overthinking conversations, feeling responsible for everyone’s emotions, or constantly trying to keep the peace, you’re not alone.

Many people experience emotional exhaustion from always being there for others. SelfLoversPoint exists to help you understand that experience and gently reconnect with yourself.

WHAT SELFLOVERSPOINT IS ABOUT

SelfLoversPoint focuses on one core theme: emotional exhaustion caused by people-pleasing.

Many people grow up learning to prioritize others’ needs, emotions, and expectations. Over time, this can quietly lead to emotional fatigue, self-doubt, and a feeling of losing connection with your own needs.

Here you’ll find thoughtful insights and practical tools designed to help you:

• understand emotional exhaustion
• recognize people-pleasing patterns
• rebuild emotional balance
• reconnect with your own needs and boundaries

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s awareness, steadiness, and emotional clarity.

WHAT YOU’LL FIND HERE

On SelfLoversPoint you’ll find:

• thoughtful articles exploring emotional exhaustion and people-pleasing patterns
• practical insights on boundaries, emotional awareness, and self-connection
• reflection tools designed to help you process your inner experience gently

One of these tools is the Emotional Reset Journal, a guided journaling practice designed for people who feel emotionally tired from constantly being there for others.

This space is not about forcing positivity or “fixing” yourself.

It’s about understanding your emotional patterns and creating space to reconnect with who you are.

ABOUT HARSHWARDHAN

SelfLoversPoint Founder Harshwardhan is standing with a light smile on his face in a calm garden.

SelfLoversPoint was created by Harshwardhan.

Harshwardhan is a writer and observer of human behavior who has long been interested in understanding how emotional patterns shape our lives.

Like many people who care deeply about others, he also experienced periods of emotional exhaustion caused by constantly trying to be understanding, accommodating, and responsible for everyone’s emotional comfort.

Over time, this led him to reflect more deeply on people-pleasing patterns and the quiet emotional fatigue they can create.

Writing and journaling became tools that helped him slow down, process his thoughts, and reconnect with his own emotional clarity.

After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the Madras School of Economics, he eventually chose to step away from the corporate path to focus on writing and building SelfLoversPoint.

Based in New Delhi, Harsh enjoys meditation, long walks in nature, journaling, and reflecting on the deeper patterns of human experience.

A MESSAGE FOR YOU

Hi, I’m Harshwardhan.

At one point in my life, I began noticing a pattern within myself — I was often trying to keep everyone around me comfortable and happy, sometimes at the cost of my own emotional energy.

Outwardly, things looked normal. But internally, I often felt mentally tired from overthinking conversations, managing expectations, and trying to avoid disappointing people.

It took time for me to understand that this experience is very common among people who naturally care deeply about others.

SelfLoversPoint was created as a space to explore this quiet form of emotional exhaustion — and to offer gentle tools that help people reconnect with their own needs and emotional clarity.

Healing often begins with simply understanding what we’ve been carrying.

If something you read here resonates with you, you might find it helpful to understand how people-pleasing may be affecting your emotional energy.
